The Hair Transplantation With The Fue Method

The fue (follicular unit extraction) is the most modern and gentle method of hair transplantation (ht). The special feature: in a fue, the hair follicles in the form of follicular units (fus) are individually removed in precise precision work with fine instruments.

The follicular units are removed individually with fine extraction tools. Depending on the size of the graft to be extracted (1 to 3 hairs), we usually work with specially prepared extraction needles that are usually between 0 and 7 mm in diameter (equivalent to 22 gauge; specification, also for medical hollow needles the higher the the smaller the outer diameter of the hollow needle ) and 0.9 mm (20 gauge).

For very fine hair in single grafts u. Also, a 0.6 mm (23 gauge) needle may be used. For very thick and curly hairs in 3 and 4 ply grafts, 1 mm (19 gauge) needles are often the best choice. The remaining scars are so minimally small after healing that they often heal for the unaided eye even on closer inspection barely visible to completely invisible. If the head is shaved later, then you can see with very close inspection only tiny bright spots. This is not surprising, because there are now missing the then removed hair.
